Knowing God

It's true. There is a God and He loves you and your family more than you will ever know. God tells us that He has a wonderful plan for your life -- a plan not to harm you but to give you hope and a future.

God's wish is that you and everyone else would come to know Him personally by coming to know His Son, Jesus. Everyone has sin in their lives which keeps them from living forever with God in heaven.
It doesn't matter what you do or how good a person you are, your sin separates you forever from God. But God loves you so much that He made a way for you to be with Him. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

Jesus, God's Son, was born of a virgin. He lived a perfect, sinless life, died on a cross and rose from the dead on the third day. Jesus died for you so that you can have God's forgiveness for your sins if you will only ask God to forgive you and believe in who Jesus is and what He did for you.

You will live forever. Your body will one day die but your soul will continue to live forever. God created you to live in heaven for all eternity but you need His forgiveness first. Can you think of a reason why you should not accept God's forgiveness today?

Dear God,
I know that I am a sinner and that my sin separates me from You. Please forgive me of my sins. Today, I turn from my sin and pledge to live a life pleasing to you. I believe that Your Son, Jesus, died just for me and rose from the grave. Jesus, come into my life today and be my Lord and Savior. Thank you, Lord, for dying for me. Thank you for saving me and giving me new life.
